Bangkok – Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd joined with the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) to organize The Honda LPGA Thailand National Qualifiers 2020 from the 21st-22nd January 2020 to search for one winning Thai female golfer to qualify for the upcoming Honda LPGA Thailand. The winner of National Qualifiers is Rina Tatematsu, who won after a playoff with Chanette Wannasaen and is now set to participate at the Honda LPGA Thailand 2020 to be held from 20-23 February, at the Siam Country Club Pattaya, Old Course.

Rina wins it with a superb approach shot on the second play-off hole

On the first day, there were 58 participants in total and four joint winners: Benyapa Niphatsophon, former winner of last year’s National Qualifiers, Rina Tatematsu, Kultida Pramphun and Sarunchana Rattanasin with three rounds of 69.

Chanette, who had two rounds of 70, also finished on -4 and the tournament went to a playoff to decide the winner. After the scores were level on the first playoff hole, Rina proved too good and went on to win the tournament, which had 58 participants this year. Rina was invited by Ariya Jutanugarn to be part of Team Jutanugarn at the 2019 Major Champions Invitational at Orlando, Florida, USA.

Originally from London, my career has been entirely with top rank firms. I started in catering and hotel management (Peninsula Group HK, China, S.Korea) where I learned the importance of GOOD SERVICE. Next, a spell with one of the world’s leading club management groups (CCA, HK, Taipei, Singapore) which taught me the need to build repeat business by ensuring a FRESH and INNOVATIVE approach at all times.

Then a long career in Sports Management with one of the most internationally famous and highly regarded firms (WME IMG). There, GOALS and OBJECTIVES had to be met, with client’s BRAND and CORPORATE interests always taking pole position.

In 2004 I started in photography – turning a lifetime hobby into a new career opportunity. And with all my experience, event and sport photography just comes naturally. My mission: to provide my clients with the highest level of service… heavily skewed to brand and corporate exposure, capturing decisive moments and meeting pre-defined goals and objectives.
