As for more commercial shooting on a small scale, we have the home studio, with a floor to ceiling backdrop. There is also a table-top jewellery set up with EZ Cubes and all our lighting comes from Elinchrom, Fokon and Prolinca. For portraits and model comp card shooting we can either use the studio or local nearby outdoor areas.

Freelance Photographer Bangkok Thailand -To capture the decisive moments – that is the very essence of event photography! It is what I aim to do at 5 Rings Photography. And I approach it with a unique and successful career background having been in management in Asia for more than 25 years. I have used photography in many forms to help me achieve targets. Now I put that experience to work to understand better the needs of each client and to produce the best results for them.
Originally from London, my career has been entirely with top rank firms. I started in catering and hotel management (Peninsula Group HK, China, South Korea) where I learned the importance of GOOD SERVICE. Next, a spell with one of the world’s leading club management groups (CCA, HK, Taipei, Singapore) which taught me the need to build repeat business by ensuring a FRESH and INNOVATIVE approach at all times. Then a long career in Sports Management with one of the most internationally famous and highly regarded firms (IMG). There, GOALS and OBJECTIVES had to be met, with client’s BRAND and CORPORATE interests always taking pole position. The foundation of 5 Rings Photography was forged here.
In 2004 I started as a Freelance photographer Bangkok Thailand – turning a lifetime hobby into a new career opportunity. And with all my experience event photography just comes naturally. My mission: to provide my clients with the highest level of service… heavily skewed to brand and corporate exposure and meeting pre-defined goals and objectives. Jargon? Not with me, it’s what I do. 5 Rings Photography is all about being in the right place at the right time and instinctively knowing when to take the shot.
Henri Cartier Bresson’s decisive moment concept (see quote above) is the inspiration for my photography however . Whatever the event or occasion, I can capture such moments for you.
